| Symantec Announces The Launch Of Norton 2011 Security Products. One of the foremost names in the world of PC and Internet security. Symantec, has now announced the launch of an all new line of security products of the PC ands the Internet in the form of Norton 2011. Norton, which is widely regarded as one of the best security solution for computers across the globe will come in three different editions, namely, Norton Antivirus 2011, Norton Internet Security 2011 and will also including a brand new tool called, Norton Power Eraser, that has been release specifically to detect and remove fake antivirus malware. One of the salient features of the Nnorton 2011 line up is the company's newly developed 'reputation based' detection technology, that essentially checks the downloaded files and confirms whether the download has been acquired from a respected site or vendor and would inform the user if any anomaly is detected in the download. Also, the all new package of an improved and enhanced malware detection, as well as system performance monitoring tools. However, the cream of the new line up seems to the newly introduced tool called, Norton Power Eraser. This free tool has been designed and developed specifically to detect and erase all known fake antivirus malware, which are essentially malware programs disguised in the form of high end antivirus software, that then forces the user to pay for the 'full versions; of these programs, which in reality are good for nothing. The all New Norton 2011 security products are available via the Norton portal and comes in the three price categories. Norton Internet Security 2011 comes with a price tag of $70 (for 3 PCs), and Norton Antivirus 2010 costs $40 (for use on one PC).  |
