| Nokia N8 To Be Officially Launched On 1st October 2010 Good news for all die hard Nokia fans! One of the most anticipated and cutting edge smartphone from the Finnish handset manufacturer, Nokia N8, has now been slated for an official launch on October 1st, 2010 in the United Kingdom. This incredible handset is being touted as one of the most advanced smartphones to hit the market and Nokia has announced the end of September as the availability date for the device on Nokia's online shop. The N8 is powered by ARM 11 680 MHz processor and sports 3D acceleration. Nokia N8, which is by far one of the smartest devices to be launched this year runs on the all new Symbian 3 operating system and boasts of a 12 MP camera with Xenon flash. The display of the device is a capacitive AMOLED touch screen along with Dolby Digital Sound and a HDMI interface, that allows the users to connect the device to their televisions. Along other features, Nokia N8 comes with wireless connectivity, Bluetooth, and high definition video recording at 720p. The handset comes with 16GB internal storage and expandable memory upto 32 GB, along with 256MB RAM, and 512 MB ROM. Nokia N8 will be available in stores in the UK with a price tag of $663 for the unlocked version and can also be obtained from various wirelss carriers such as Carphone Warehouse, O2, Orange, Phones4u, T-Mobile, Tesco Phone Shops, Three Mobile, Virgin Mobile and Vodafone $54 a month contract price.  |
