Google Inc. Unveils Yet Another High Speed Search Tool In The Form Of ‘Google Instant’ The face of Internet search is changing and Google Inc. is at the front of that change, spearheading cutting edge technology and ushering in an new era of conducting searches on the Internet. The search behemoth has now come out with an exciting new feature called, Google Instant, that allows the users to search for their topic even before they have finished their search query. The concept of Google Instant is based on Google's aim of providing the users with the most relevant results to their searches. Google Instant uses a users search history, so to speak, in a manner where this service takes in the phrases and queries you have previously searched for and then provides you with most likely completion and then shows real time results for those queries. Google Instant thus can make the search process even faster than it already is and take the predictive search concept to a whole new level. One of the salient features of Google Instant is that, instead of becoming a hindrance to the users, it silently provides the users with suggestion in light gray text, before the users is finished typing. This helps the users in simply clicking on the most relevant query and get the results in real time. According to Google, "To bring Google Instant to life, we needed a host of new technologies including new caching systems, the ability to adaptively control the rate at which we show results pages and an optimization of page-rendering JavaScript to help web browsers keep up with the rest of the system. In the end, we needed to produce a system that was able to scale while searching as fast as people can type and think—all while maintaining the relevance and simplicity people expect from Google." Also, Google has announced that, it will be conducting a press event in lieu of the release of Google Instant. This press event will be given a Live Webcast on Google's YouTube channel and the event is expected to focus on the evolution and future of ‘search before you type’ technology.
