The recent economic slow down and the resultant job cuts and the downsizing strategy adopted by the companies and the employers have made the matter of new job creation of utmost importance. The economy seems to be limping back on track. New jobs and opportunities are coming back slowly but surely. Can you imagine how nice it would be if you had a map to guide you to this gold rush? Well there is help at hand. Richard Florida has created a map that tells you how much job gain is projected for a particular city.
The findings have been backed by authentic research and scientific projection models. In fact this project was inspired by the success of a similar project about an interesting map depicting pay levels in US metros. This is a new series of maps created by Richard Florida that includes a pictorial representation of areas with the biggest projected gains in employment. You can now focus your job search to the area that promises to have the largest potential.
One of the maps in the series shows the metros in the US with the biggest projected gains in total employment up to 2018. The results are not surprising though. New York with 578,974 jobs is at the top. Los Angeles is projected to add 405,392 jobs during the period and takes the second place. Chicago, Washington DC and Atlanta come next on the list to form the top five.
