Sunday October 3, sees the 29th annual Twin Cities Marathon in Minnesota and as usual it’s a huge event with many thousands of people expecting to turn out and line the streets to give their support to the runners.

The course is known for being very scenic, set amidst lakes, rivers and trees and the race will begin at 8:00 am, ending at 2:15 pm. If any runners don’t complete the 26 miles within the time schedule they will be not be classed as official finishers, according to Jason Moore on The News of Today.
Over 300,000 spectators are expected to attend the race which begins at the HHH Metrodome in Minneapolis. The finishing point will be at the State Capitol building in St. Paul. The best way to attend the marathon and watch the action will be to catch the bus as traffic will be heavy and there will be road closures.
