A Date With Wine: A Wine Stopper that Can Tell You When You Opened Your Bottle Posted: 02 Sep 2010 09:29 AM PDT New York based designer George Lee keeps coming up with interesting and useful designs. For all those wine drinkers out there, he has brought out a cool new product called A Date With Wine. It is basically a wine stopper that tells you when you had opened your wine. This way you can guess whether the wine is still worth drinking or has it been open for too long. The look of this wine stopper is pretty industrial considering it has been made with a food-grade stainless steel and silicone. As you can see, the top of the cork comes with a twistable date ring that starts once you open the bottle the first time. It is not some rocket science, but I guess it still would be usefull to those forgetful people or those who don't drink wine very frequently and also drink it at long intervals I guess. Well actually any wine drinker could buy this product. These little inventions are the ones that come in handy in our day to day life. And I am sure it would cost a bomb. I have been impressed with George Lee, and will look forward to his other innovative designs in the future. Via: Lemoutonnoirandco , DesignBoom |
Manhattan gas barbeque grill: A great Buy Posted: 02 Sep 2010 09:14 AM PDT If you are looking for a great BBQ grill then I have just the thing for you my friend. The name is Manhattan gas barbeque grill. This design is amazing and to prove how great it is, let me tell you that it got an honourable mention in the Red Dot Design award 2010. With its ultra modern look, it will be the perfect outdoor accessory. Its countertop is made of wood, and has two infinitely variable cooking zones, both of them having a 3.5 kW capacity. It also has an adjustable burner and also sufficient storage space to accommodate all the things you need for a BBQ. The grill area is also sufficiently large at 37.5 cm x 45.0 cm if you don't have a very big party. The grill cover is double-processed, and the wind/spray protection is made of stainless steel, which is easily removable. The BBQ grill also comes with integrated roller wheels that give it sufficient mobility to be moved anywhere outside or inside the house. The grill comes with a price tag of $512, which is not expensive at all. Would be a great buy I think and within your budget as well, I guess. Via: Labamo |
